Sirina

Sirina – Copper/Molybdenum Porphyry – 3 Concessions

The Sirina project is comprised of 3 concessions totaling 9,835 hectares. It has been shown to contain multiple copper and molybdenum porphyry deposit zones. This concession had been explored by the Ecuadorian Mining Institute in collaboration with the Japanese International Cooperation Agency between 1988 and 1991.

The assay results from this prior exploration have indicated above average copper mineral deposits in two locations. The concessions have good access by road.

Location

The project has three concessions covering an extension of 12,100 hectares located in the western slopes of the Western Cordillera in the Bolivar Province.

To reach the place we use the paved rout Quito - Quevedo - Ventanas and then a second order road until Echiandia and Chazo Juan. The trip takes 7 hours from Quito.

General Geological Setting

Chiaradia (2004) El Torneado (El Salto) and other similar deposits Telimbela, Chaso Juan (Sirina), Las Juntas and Las Guardias of the Balzapamba district are hosted by granodiores dated at 20 Ma.

The work of El Salto, Sirina and other prospects do demonstrate, however that porphyry-style copper-molbdenum mineralization and associate hydrothermal alteration is present over significant areas.
